Henson, Angstrom Sworn in Monday

KWBG 11/21/23

BOONE, Iowa—Recently elected Boone City Council Members Cory Henson, 2nd Ward Council Member and Council Member At-Large Kyle Angstrom received the Oath of Office during Monday night’s City Council Meeting. Both were filling out terms until the recent municipal election. Neither were challenged for their seats on the council during the election two-weeks ago.

Angstrom won the special election last March to fill the seat vacated by Steven Ray at the end of 2022. Right after that, Henson was appointed to fill the seat vacated by B.J. McGinn who moved out of the 2nd Ward. Both were elected to full 4-year terms ending in 2027.
