BOONE, Iowa—The Boone County Historical Society hosted a Saturday with a Scholar Program with DMACC History Professor Charles Irwin. Irwin, a previous Historical Society and Director, had worked with Suzanne Caswell to put together information about the history of what is today the Linwood Park Cemetery. Irwin spoke about the beginnings of the cemetery, first burials, and how local business leaders expanded the cemetery including ties to the Latham Cemetery on Park Avenue.
