BOONE, Iowa—Voters in House District 48 will have a new Representative in 2025. Current Representative Phil Thompson has decided not to seek re-election. Chad Behn pursued the Republican nomination and Penny Vossler sought the Democratic nomination. This is Vossler’s second run for the seat. Both candidates will take part in a Meet the Candidate event on KWBG, Wednesday afternoon at 5:00.
