BOONE, Iowa—Earlier this month, Jennifer Hanson, Executive Director of the Boone County Chamber of Commerce said on KWBG that the interest and anticipation of taking part in this year’s Trunk or Treat event was a good problem to have. Over six dozen businesses, groups, organizations and individuals took part in the Thursday evening event. That brought in hundreds of participants for the two hour event. Outside of windy conditions, the threat of rainy weather did not hinder the turnout.
