BOONE, Iowa—Boone County Treasurer Lauren Novak reports that her office has learned that the 2020-2021 property tax statements post marked last Friday, August 14th, 2020 are incorrect. The tax statements are a duplicate statement of the 2019/2020 property taxes. Residents are asked to please disregard the first set of property tax statements you receive. Corrected statements for 2020/2021 will be mailed on August 18, 2020. Novak says they apologize for the inconvenience the error may cause.
