John Roosa, Administrator for the Boone County Landfill and Recycling program talks about projects planned for the Boone County Landfill this year. The first is a force sewer main project that will allow leachate from the landfill to be piped to the Boone Waste Water Treatment Plant. The second project will be the expansion into the final designated cell for solid waste disposal. Roosa also explained the costs associated with illegal dumping and littering in Boone County.
