MADRID, Iowa—Ledges State Park Manager Andy Bartlett says they try to give credit where credit is due and our volunteers definitely deserve a lot of credit! One way to do that this year was through the “Shine the Light” program from Iowa Association of Electric Cooperatives. Bartlett nominated volunteer Karl Jungbluth for all his hard work over the last couple years. In appreciation, Karl was awarded $625 to put towards a non-profit of his choice…..and guess who he chose?!?! Friends of the Ledges of course!
