Klith wins 100 at Ram Early Bird meet

Jackson Klith won the 100-meter dash as the Ogden boys track and field team finished fifth in a 12 team field, finishing with 60 team points, Friday April 10, at the Ram Early Bird meet at Greene County Middle School in Jefferson.

Jackson Klith won the 100-meter dash as the Ogden boys track and field team finished fifth in a 12 team field, finishing with 60 team points, Friday April 10, at the Ram Early Bird meet at Greene County Middle School in Jefferson. 

In individual events, Jackson Klith was champion in the 100 with a time of 11.24 seconds, while Jude Klith followed with a fifth‑place finish at 11.67.  

Myles Tromblay captured a second‑place finish in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:55.51. 

The Bulldogs placed second in the shuttle hurdle relay as Weston Sundell, Carson Mueggenberg, Zach Crosman and Treyton Mitchell combined for a time of 1:08.41.  

Brayden Miller placed third in the 400-meter dash in 54.73 seconds. 

Ogden also finished third in the distance medley relay in 3:54.29.  

The relay included Sundell, Mueggenberg, Abbott, and Tromblay. 

The 4×100-meter relay of Jude Klith, Treyton Mitchell, Miller and Jackson Klith placed third in 44.88. 

The sprint medley relay of Mitchell, Jackson Klith, Jude Klith and Miller finished fifth in 1:40.81. 

Abbott placed sixth in the 800-meter run at 2:13.74, and Mitchell finished seventh in the110-meter high hurdles in 17.38. 

The 4×800-meter relay of Bek Anderson, Cameron Kargle, Gabe Klotz and Christian Thede finished 8th in 10:02.88.

The boys will compete at the Southeast Valley Invite tonight in Gowrie.
