Kris Blocker, Executive Director of Visit Boone County. Blocker has a busy schedule over the next several weeks. This week, she talks about Night on the Green, Friday night. Beginning this weekend, the Pyrotechnics Guild International Convention will be held at Central Iowa Expo. That’s followed by the Iowa State Fair and the Visit Boone County Booth in the Varied Industry Building. By the end of the month, Blocker will take in the Farm Progress Show in Decatur, Illinois, then back for the Iowa Fire Fighters Annual Convention at the Central Iowa Expo and Super Nationals.
