WOODWARD, Iowa—A Memorial Mass for Larry Spenla, 92, of Woodward, Iowa will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Madrid, IA with Father Tim Johnson presiding. Burial will take place at Woodward Cemetery, Woodward, Iowa with full military honors.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, January 3, 2026 at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church prior to the service.
Larry is survived by his children: Kathi (Randy) Craven, Randy (Eileen) Spenla, Julie Spenla, and Cheri Nickolay; other relatives; and friends.
