BOONE, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 79-year old Larry Swank of Boone, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 2, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Sixth and Marshall Streets, Boone, Iowa. Dr. Dave Swinton will be officiating. Following his wishes, Larry’s body has been cremated. Burial of the cremated remains will be held in the Linwood Park Cemetery, Boone, Iowa. Military Honors will be conducted by the Boone Veterans Council.
Visitation will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel, Sunday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will be present and will receive friends at the Funeral Chapel, Sunday beginning at 5:00 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the Funeral Chapel at 7:00 p.m. conducted by the Mirza Lodge #609 of Pilot Mound, Iowa.
Visitation Monday will be held at the Schroeder-Reimers Memorial Chapel from 8:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m.
In memory of Larry, memorials may be directed to the Boone Area Humane Society Foundation.
