Linda Robinson

KWBG 01/13/23

BOONE, Iowa—Linda Katherine (Fessler) Robinson of Boone died January 10th of complications related to cancer.

Linda was born May 31, 1947 in Kansas City, Missouri. Her family moved to a farm in northern Missouri when she was two.

Linda graduated from St. Joseph H.S. in Salisbury, MO. She attended Northeast Missouri St. University and worked for the University for a short amount of time.

She married Harry Robinson August 10, 1967. They lived one year in Ottumwa, IA where Linda worked as a legal secretary. They spent 3 years in Humeston, IA.

In 1970 they moved to Boone, IA and Linda began her 35 year career at Boone County Hospital.

Linda enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and taking trips to Twin Lakes with friends. She was an excellent baker and her treats will be missed by many.

Linda was preceded in death by her father Robert Fessler, mother Juantia and stepfather David Wilson. Linda is survived by husband Harry, daughter Kalen and her spouse Ngeun “Money” Robinson of Boone and daughter Kelli of Ames. Brother Robert Fessler and spouse Paula. Bother Daniel Fessler and partner Dee Gibler, all of Fulton, MO. And five nephews and their families.

Honoring Linda’s request, there will be no public funeral, but a celebration of her life at a later date. Linda’s family request any memorials be made to the Israel House Hospice of Ames, or a hospice or charity of your choice.

Thank you to everyone who helped her family during this very difficult time.
