
The Madrid boys golf team competed at the Van Meter Boys Quadrangular Tuesday, April 28, finishing third in the four‑team field at the Van Meter Golf Course.
Madrid posted a team score of 198, finishing behind Van Meter (159) and Woodward‑Granger (168), while West Central Valley rounded out the scoring with a 203.
Individually, Madrid was led by Cory Saxton, who turned in the team’s low round with a 46.
Eli Peterson followed closely with a 48.
Zach Newell added a 51, while Emerson Bridgewater posted a 53.
Levi Kockler finished with a 54, and Terrin Lawrensen rounded out the Madrid scores with a 55.
