
The Madrid Tigers boys’ basketball team saw its 32-game win streak come to an end Tuesday, December 9, as it fell to Pleasantville 88-70 in a high-scoring West Central Activities Conference matchup on the road.
Jevyn Severson scored 38 points on 16-of-24 shooting and adding 14 rebounds, including 5 offensive boards.
He also contributed 3 assists.
Emerson Bridgewater chipped in 14 points, hitting a three-pointer and going 5-of-7 from the free-throw line, while also grabbing 6 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists.
Max Fowler added 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting night.
Kolbie Owens provided 6 rebounds and 5 assists.
Madrid now sits at 4-1 on the season and 1-1 in the conference.
Madrid will look to bounce back on Friday, December 12, when they host Woodward-Granger (2-1) in a conference matchup.
Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM at Madrid High School.
