The Madrid boys’ track team won the Ink Wunderly Invitational at South Central Calhoun High School in Lake City Tuesday, April 8.
The Tigers scored 154 points while runner-up South Central Calhoun scored 119 points.
Two individuals and 3 relays were crowned champions for Madrid.
Jacob Farrell won the 200-meter dash in 23.05, and Preston Wicker won the shot put with a throw of 47-08.00
The 4×400-meter relay of Brody Buck, Jake Sawyer, Tyler Sonnenfelt and Farrell won in 3:43.93.
The 4×800-meter relay of Blake Renze, Caleb Berberich, Henry Hudnall and Cavin Pehl won in 9:09.46.
The shuttle hurdle relay of Will Atkinson, Kinnick Grimm, Easton Halverson and Buck won in 1:05.93.

Teams competing at the Ink Wunderly Invitational were Madrid, South Central Calhoun, Graettinger-Terrill-Ruthven-Ayrshire, Pocahontas Area, Paton-Churdan, Carroll Kuemper Cahtolic and Woodware Academy.
The boys travel to Jewell to run at the South Hamilton Co-Ed Meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10.
