The Madrid girls’ track team won 6 events at the Panorama Co-Ed Meet Tuesday, April 8, at Panora.
The Tigers placed 2nd at the meet with 100 points, losing by only one point as Central Decatur scored 101.
Madelyn Grothus started it off with by winning the 3,000-meter run in 11:18.42.
Lauren Dvorak won the shot put with a throw of 36-06.00 and also won the discus with a throw of 121-09.
Paige Richards won 3 events, the long jump with a jump of 16-07.50, the 100-meter dash in 12.76 and the 200-meter dash in 26.37.

Teams competing for the girls were Central Decatur, Madrid, Ogden, Panorama, Woodward-Granger, Greene County, Adair Casey-Guthrie Center, Woodbine, Mount Ayr, Audubon, West Central Valley, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Nodaway Valley, and Glidden-Ralston.
The girls travel to Jewell to run at the South Hamilton Co-Ed Meet at 4:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10.
