The Madrid volleyball team dropped a West Central Activities Conference road match Tuesday, September 22, as Earlham swept the Tigers, 3-0.
Rylin Velky directed the Madrid offense with a team-high 13 assists.
Jaela Hansen led the Tigers at the net, finishing with five kills and two blocks.
Defensively, Iyla Fine led Madrid with 15 digs, while Stella Fine added 10 digs.
Madrid had several strong performances from the service line.
Savannah Bradley led the Tigers with three aces and was a perfect 16-for-16 serving.
Hansen added one ace while going 13-for-13, and Hadley Mickle was perfect on all seven of her service attempts.
The loss drops Madrid to 5-8 overall and 2-4 in conference play.
The Tigers return to action Monday, September 28, when they travel to Jewell for a quadrangular. Madrid will face Forest City, Panorama and South Hamilton.
