Maki January ‘DORS Recipient

KWBG 01/08/19

BOONE, Iowa—The Boone School Board took time Monday to recognize Ally Maki as the ‘DORS award recipient for the month of January.  Maki is a Special Education teacher at Franklin Elementary and was presented to the board by Franklin Principal Brad Winter.  Winter said that Maki is a special person with a great commitment to serving students under sometimes exceptional circumstances.  Several Franklin staff members were on hand for the recognition.

The ‘DORS (Dedicated, Outstanding, and Respected Service) Award is presented monthly to someone in the BCSD who “really gets it” when it comes to providing exceptional customer service, which in turn results in a positive impact on everyone including students, parents, co-workers and members of the community.
