Marcus Holveck

KWBG 09/14/21

AMES, Iowa—Funeral arrangements have been set for 42 year old Marcus Edward Holveck of Ames, Iowa. He passed away on August, 30, 2021. He was born on August 19, 1979 to Ronnie Dickerson and Robin Holveck. He married Crystal Ball on July 12, 2002 and they were blessed with two children, Kalyn Holveck and Marcus Holveck Jr.

Marcus loved spending time with his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved mushroom hunting and wrestling with his children. He was a loving and caring husband, father and son, always very proud of his family’s achievements. Marcus was employed at Village Inn as a cook and also worked as a painter.

He is survived by his wife, Crystal; children; parents; sister, Melissa Holveck; and grandmother, Lola Sorensen of Ogden.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, William Dickerson and grandparents, Robert and Sandra Ball of Winterset.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 P.M. on September 26, 2021 at the Don Williams Lodge (by the boat dock), north of Ogden.
