OGDEN, Iowa—The family of the late Harold McComb of Ogden recognized their father and mother, Harold and Wilma McComb, with a donation that went to a service the family felt was essential to their community, the Ogden First Responders. The Ogden City Council took time during their meeting Tuesday for the donation to be made to representatives of the First Responders. The donation was for $20,000 and Mark Dorr with Ogden First Responders said the donation would be used to acquire a power lift cot. He said they don’t transport a lot of patients by a state of the art cot would be helpful for responders and would be very beneficial to patients being transported.
