
DES MOINES, Iowa—The recent U.S. Drought Monitor Map shows a little change in conditions across the state. Abnormally Dry conditions decreased slightly and the Moderate Drought in the state expanded slightly. the Abnormally Dry conditions declined by just over 2% and Moderate Drought conditions increased by just over 1%.
Moderate Drought has expanded over West Central Iowa and has clipped the southwest corner of Greene County. Boone County remains drought free following the heavier rains earlier this month.
