DES MOINES, Iowa—There were some minor changes in drought conditions in Iowa this past week. The U.S. Drought Monitor released on Tuesday showed a slight increase in the area described as no drought or abnormally dry conditions. There was an increase in moderate drought conditions. Boone County remains in moderate drought with the northern portion of Story County in the severe drought area.
