Molly Holman

KWBG 06/28/22

BOONE, Iowa—Molly Pauline Nash-Holman, 41, of Boone, Iowa, passed away at her home in Boone on
Thursday, June 23, 2022 surrounded by family.

Molly was born on February 19, 1981 in Anamosa, Iowa, the daughter of George Evert Nash and Sindee Ann Bechtel (Saunders). On April 23, 2014, she married Steven Ray Holman in Boone, Iowa. Molly graduated from Boone High School in 1999. After graduation, she worked at BioLife in Ames. Molly found her career choice of being a Certified Pharmacy Technician for Walgreens and finished her career at Hy-Vee.

She was a proud military wife and a loving mother who devoted herself to her husband and children, building memories and enjoying time with friends, family, and her beloved pets. Molly was always ready for anything, with a diet coke, an eye roll, and a sarcastic comment.

She was preceded in death by her father, George Evert Nash; step-father Michael Bechtel; stepbrother Christopher Carr; maternal grandparents Ray and Pauline Saunders, and paternal grandmother Joanna Patrica Jones.

Molly is survived by her husband, Steven Holman; sons: Nathan Holman and Ryan Holman, and step-son Kalvin Holman all of Boone, IA; mother Sindee Bechtel of Boone, IA; step-mother Christine Nash of Marshalltown, IA; sisters: Beth Scharpenter and Kelly Nash both of Marshalltown, IA; several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Her “other” children, fur babies, Titan, Aspen, and cat, Lilith.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for them to use at their discretion.

Online condolences can be left at www.schroederfuneral.com

Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home, 609 7th Street, Boone, Iowa is assisting the family with these arrangements.
