More Improvement in Drought Conditions

KWBG 11/18/21

DES MOINES, Iowa—The weekly U.S. Drought Monitor report this week shows continued improvement in drought conditions in Iowa.  Overall, there was a continued increase in the percentage of area reporting no drought or abnormally dry conditions. There was about a 10 percent reduction in the area considered to have moderate drought conditions, which a week ago did include the eastern part of Boone County into Story County. This week, the area is considered abnormally dry.
