BOONE, Iowa—Matthew Speers has been sworn in as the Boone County Attorney. Speers was the Assistant Boone County Attorney and was named by the Boone County Board of Supervisors to replace Daniel Kolacia, who left to pursue other opportunities. Kolacia resigned effective Friday, January 15th and Speers was sworn in at that that time.
