BOONE, Iowa—Grab your friends and family to enjoy a fun night! The first Nights on the Green is scheduled for Friday, May 13th

“Thanks with Franks” is sponsored by Fareway Meat & Grocery they will be serving 500 FREE hot dogs, chips and water.
The event will take place downtown Boone at 8th & Story Street. The night will kick off at 5:00 with Behn’s Centre of Dance students performing, at 5:45 a flag ceremony will take place then from 6:00 – 9:00 live music provided by Jordan Beem.
“The committee has worked really hard for the past several months to make this community event special and we welcome all ages” said Kris Blocker, Executive Director for the Boone County Convention & Visitors Bureau. The CVB is really excited to be hosting this great event and we look forward to seeing everyone come downtown as well as welcome some out of town guests. Additional dates for Nights on the Green this summer are: June 3, July 1, August 12 and September 2.
