BOONE, Iowa—The U.S. Drought Monitor for the week was released on Tuesday and the National Weather Service passed along the information Thursday, showing that even with rain, little change in the drought condition was found locally. The eastern part of Boone County remained in Moderate Drought and the west portion of the county was Abnormally Dry.
