The Ogden baseball team delivered a dominant performance on Saturday, June 28, defeating West Central Valley 12-2 in a five-inning West Central Conference victory at home.
A massive 9-run third inning broke the game wide open and propelled Ogden to its 11th win of the season.
Tanner Rohe led the offensive charge with 2 hits, including a double, and drove in 3 runs.
Kegan Ristvedt added 2 RBIs and scored 3 times, while Christian Thede chipped in with 2 hits and 2 runs scored.
Thomas Bergstrom, Colson Carson, Treyton Mitchell, and Bek Anderson all added hits and runs.
Rohe started on the mound and recorded 2 strikeouts before handing the ball to Mitchell, who earned the win in relief with 4 strikeouts.
Ogden improves to 11-14 overall and 8-9 in the conference while West Central Valley is 7-14 overall and 3-11 in the conference.
The Bulldogs will look to keep rolling tonight as they host Panorama (4-14 overall, 3-11 conference) in another conference matchup at 7 p.m.
