
The Ogden boys’ track and field team competed at the IATC Indoor Championships on Friday, March 13, at the Lied Recreation Center on the campus of Iowa State University in Ames.
Relay events
In the 4×60 Shuttle Hurdle Relay, Weston Sundell, Carson Mueggenberg, Bek Anderson and Treyton Mitchell finished 9th in 37.81.
In the 4×400 Relay, Brayden Miller, Landon Abbott, Mueggenberg and Jackson Klith combined for 3:42.22, placing 10th overall.
In the 1600 Sprint Medley Relay, the quartet of Jude Klith, Miller, Abbott and Miles Tromblay ran 3:57.12, placing them 11th.
Sprint and hurdle events
Jackson Klith placed 9th in the 60‑meter dash prelims with a time of 7.28 seconds before returning later to take 14th in the 200 meters at 23.53.
Jude Klith finished in 7.50 in the 60-meter dash.
Mitchell led Ogden in the 60‑meter hurdles, recording 9.27 seconds for 21st in the prelims.
Sundell also contributed in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 10.36.
Distance and field events
Tromblay ran 4:56.70 in the 1600-meter run —good for 14th.
In the 400-meter dash, Miller clocked 54.46, finishing 15th.
In the long jump, Shane Sellers landed a 16‑08.25 to place 28th.
The Ogden girls and boys next host a scrimmage with Boone, Perry and Woodward-Granger Tuesday, March 24, at Ogden High School.
