
The Ogden Bulldogs’ boys basketball team battled on the road Tuesday, January 13, but came up just short in a 57–55 loss to West Central Valley in a West Central Activities Conference matchup at Stuart.
Colson Carson led the Bulldogs with 16 points, hitting 3-of-5 from beyond the arc and going 3-for-5 at the line.
Carson also grabbed 8 rebounds, including 2 offensive boards, and added 4 assists with a block and a steal.
Brayden Miller provided 14 points on 7-of-13 shooting, while pulling down 6 rebounds and dishing out 2 assists.
Nate Swisher chipped in 7 points, going 3-of-5 from the field, and added a free throw.
Jase Coleman and Jordan Benjamin each scored 7 points, with Coleman contributing 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and an assist, while Benjamin added 2 assists.
Keagan Ristvedt had 4 assists and a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio.
The Bulldogs now sit at 2–10 overall and 1–8 in conference play, while West Central Valley improves to 8–4 overall and 4–3 in the league.
Ogden will look to bounce back when they host Paton-Churdan (4–7) in a non-conference matchup tonight.
