
The Ogden Bulldogs boys’ basketball team traveled to Pocahontas Area on Tuesday, December 16, for a non-conference matchup and came up short, falling 64-44.
Colson Carson led Ogden with 18 points, hitting 6-of-16 shots, including three three-pointers, and adding 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
Brayden Miller scored 10 points, grabbed 6 rebounds (3 offensive), and contributed a steal and an assist.
Jordan Benjamin added 10 points on 5-of-10 shooting and pulled down 8 rebounds, along with a block.
Kobe Current matched Benjamin with 8 rebounds (4 offensive) and added 2 steals and an assist.
Keagan Ristvedt dished out 8 assists with just 3 turnovers for a 2.7 assist-to-turnover ratio.
The loss drops Ogden to 1-6 overall, while Pocahontas Area improves to 3-2.
Ogden returns home Friday, December 19, for a West Central Activities Conference matchup against Woodward-Granger (3-3 overall, 1-1 WCAC).
Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. following the girls game at 6:15 p.m.
