The Ogden boys’ cross country team finished third at its home invitational Monday, September 29, at the Don Williams Golf Course.
The Bulldog’s team score was 123, and Riverside of Oakland finished first with 25 points.
Myles Tromblay placed 8th with a time of 17:32 and earning a medal.
Thomas Bergstrom also medaled, finishing 15th in 18:18.
Landon Abbott (18th, 18:32), Bek Anderson (35th, 20:25), and Henry Russo (49th, 21:14) all contributed to the team’s score.
In the girls’ division, Ogden placed 12th overall with a team score of 223.
The Boone girls won the meet with 49 points.
Elyse Fisher led the Bulldogs, finishing 20th with a time of 23:14.
Sophie Seligman followed in 35th place (24:31), and McKenzie Spencer came in 41st (25:04), earning a season-best mark.
Brylie Hicks (69th, 30:05) and Alauna Wells (70th, 30:22) rounded out Ogden’s top 5.
Next week, Ogden will travel to Jewell for the Jim Klein Cross Country Invitational on Thursday, October 9.
