Ogden boys go 1-2 at Panorama quad

The Ogden Bulldogs hit the mats, competing in three duals against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Panorama, and Southeast Valley, Thursday, December 18, at Panorama. Ogden finished the evening 1-2, earning a win over Panorama.

The Ogden Bulldogs boys’ wrestling team hit the mats, competing in three duals against Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, Panorama, and Southeast Valley, Thursday, December 18, at Panorama.  

Ogden finished the evening 1-2, earning a win over Panorama. 

AC/GC 48, Ogden 15 

Ogden opened the night against a tough AC/GC squad and managed three victories. 

Riley Saunders (120) and Ryder Eklund (132) picked up wins by forfeit. 

Landon Alexander (165) battled to a thrilling 14-11 sudden victory decision.  

Ogden 42, Panorama 36 

The Bulldogs bounced back in a big way against Panorama, earning six falls. 

Ryder Eklund (132) pinned his opponent in 1:30. 

Kinnick Munson (138) scored a fall in 56 seconds. 

Isaac Dominick (144) added another pin in just 30 seconds. 

Dillon Moe (150), Lucas Pelleymounter (157), and Cash Williams (215) also earned falls. 

Lincoln Buchwald (285) picked up a forfeit win to seal the dual.  

Southeast Valley 36, Ogden 34 

Ogden closed the night with narrow loss to Southeast Valley. 

Ryder Eklund (132) dominated with a 16-6 major decision. 

Kinnick Munson (138) scored the fastest fall of the night in 22 seconds. 

Isaac Dominick (144) and Dillon Moe (150) added pins, along with Landon Alexander (165) and Braedon DeShong (190).

The Bulldogs will travel to Story City tomorrow to compete at the 52nd Annual Jim Kinyon Norsemen Invitational beginning at 10 a.m.
