
The Ogden boys’ golf team captured the team title at the South Hamilton Boys Golf Tournament, held at Jewell Golf and Country Club Thursday, May 7.
Ogden finished first overall with a team score of 316, edging a competitive field that included South Hamilton (323), Roland‑Story (321), Greene County (332), North Polk (341), and Perry (411).
Individually, the Bulldogs were led by a standout performance from Colson Carson, who carded a 76 to finish second overall, earning runner‑up medalist honors.
Carson finished just two strokes behind medalist Luke Martensen of South Hamilton, who won the tournament with a 74.
Deacon Mitchels placed fourth with a score of 79, while Jase Coleman finished ninth after shooting an 80.
Jase Benbow followed closely in 10th place with an 81, and Keagan Ristvedt added a score of 83 to place 16th.
Hunter Mitchels rounded out Ogden’s scoring with an 84, finishing 17th.

The Bulldogs will host a quad meet at Don Williams Golf Course this afternoon, welcoming Madrid, Coon Rapids‑Bayard, and Woodward‑Granger.
