Ogden boys win two at Van Meter

The Ogden Bulldogs boys' wrestling team hit the mat Tuesday, December 2, in a triangular at Van Meter, earning wins over Greene County and Van Meter.

The Ogden Bulldogs boys’ wrestling team hit the mat Tuesday, December 2, in a triangular at Van Meter, earning wins over Greene County and Van Meter. 

Ogden 48, Greene County 24 

Ogden opened the night with six pins and two forfeits to secure the victory over Greene County. 

Kinnick Munson (138 lbs) scored a pin in just 18 seconds. 

Lucas Pelleymounter (157 lbs) followed with a fall in 32 seconds, while Cash Williams (215 lbs) added another pin in 36 seconds. 

Ryder Eklund (132 lbs) and Isaac Dominick (144 lbs) also delivered first-period falls, and Riley Saunders (120 lbs) earned a pin in 2:20. 

Ogden 45, Van Meter 30 

In the second dual, Ogden won the battle against Van Meter. 

Saunders (120 lbs) struck first with a pin in 32 seconds. 

Pelleymounter (157 lbs) and Landon Alexander (165 lbs) added falls in 1:07 and 1:37, respectively. 

Isaac Dominick (144 lbs) earned another pin in 1:15, while Williams (215 lbs) closed the night with a fall in 1:23. 

Dillon Moe (150 lbs) contributed a hard-fought 9-4 decision victory. 

Ogden finished the night with 11 individual wins across both duals.

The Bulldogs return to action Saturday, December 6, traveling to Manson-Northwest Webster for a tournament.
