
The Ogden football team struggled to get its offense going Friday, October 2, as Pleasantville handed the Bulldogs a 42-7 loss in district football action.
The Bulldogs finished with 122 yards through the air, using two quarterbacks in the contest.
Carson Lloyd completed 5 of 12 passes for 71 yards and threw Ogden’s lone touchdown.
Ben Snedden completed 3 of 12 passes for 51 yards.
Tyler Lass caught two passes for 63 yards and a touchdown.
Kobe Current had one reception for 28 yards, while Weston Sundell caught three passes for 20 yards.
Jackson Klith added one reception for seven yards, and Brayden Miller had one catch for four yards.
Klith led Ogden with 10 rushing yards on eight carries.
Ryder Eklund had six yards on two attempts, while Snedden carried once for five yards.
Defensively, Dillon Moe led the Bulldogs with 10.5 tackles, including two tackles for loss.
Eklund recorded 7.5 tackles and came away with an interception.
Sundell added seven tackles, while Lass and Zachary Crosman each finished with 4.5 tackles.
Crosman also recorded a tackle for loss.
Landon Alexander chipped in four tackles.
Despite the loss, Ogden remains in search of another district victory with an opportunity coming on the road next week.
The loss dropped Ogden to 2-4 overall and 1-2 in district play, while Pleasantville improved to 4-1 overall and 1-2 in the district.
The Bulldogs will travel to face Panorama on Friday, October 9, in another district contest.
Panorama enters the game 0-7 overall and 0-3 in district play, while Ogden will take a 2-4 overall record and 1-2 district mark into the matchup.
