The Ogden girls’ wrestling team traveled to Colfax-Mingo for 3 dual meets Tuesday, January 21.
The Bulldogs beat Martensdale-St. Mary’s, 30-27, and lost to Albia, 60-22, and Colfax-Mingo, 72-6.
There were a number of forfeits in all 3 duals, leading to only a couple contested victories for Ogden.
At 125 pounds, Sophie Seligman won by major decision over Sydney Ballard of Albia, 19-5.
At 110 pounds, Sydney King pinned Myla Nehring of Martensdale-St. Mary’s in :38.
The Bulldogs return to Colfax for a large 18-team tournament at 9 a.m. on Saturday, January 25.
