The Ogden girls’ wrestling team defeated Winterset, 48-30, but lost to Perry, 53-30, on Tuesday, December 10 in Ogden.
At 125 pounds, Sophie Seligman won twice. She pinned Niaka Fortuna of Perry in 4:18 and pinned Bristol Tadlock of Winterset in 4:49.
The Bulldogs were able to beat several Winterset opponents.
At 100 pounds, Rylin Casey pinned Savannah Metzger in 1:11, and at 110 pounds, Carlie Hinderaker pinned Ellie Michelson in 4:00.
At 115 pounds, Sydney King pinned Jill Nuzum, and at 155 pounds, Hallan Wells pinned Naveah Guion in 3:17.
At 170 pounds, Makayla Alexander pinned Leah Brownlee in 3:20, and at 190 pounds, Grace Hammer pinned Stella Evans in :21.
