
The Ogden Bulldogs girls’ wrestling team finished 13th out of 27 teams at their home Ogden Invitational on Saturday, January 10.
Grace Hammer at 190 pinned her first two opponents.
After a semifinal loss, Hammer bounced back with a fast fall in the consolation semifinal and ultimately finished 4th.
Jozlyn Wells at 130 opened with a fall, then battled through the consolation bracket with two more pins and secured 5th place.
Rylin Casey at 100 pinned her opponent in the opening round.
After a close quarterfinal loss, Casey powered through the consolation rounds with a major decision and another fall before eventually finishing 6th.
Trinity Stoneburner at 110 regrouped after an opening loss with a pin followed by a decision in the next round.
Stoneburner secured 7th place with a fall.
Alauna Wells at 135 pounds earned a first‑round win by decision before being eliminated in the consolation rounds.
Carlie Hinderaker at 115 and Sophie Seligman at 125 faced tough draws with Seligman securing a fall in consolation before being eliminated.
Ruby Tasler at 235 pounds lost in the first round and received a bye before being eliminated in the consolation round.
