
The Ogden girls’ wrestling team delivered a sweep of Albia, Colfax-Mingo and host Martensdale-St. Mary’s Tuesday, January 20, at Martensdale.
Match 1 — Ogden 48, Albia 24
Ogden opened the night with a victory 48-24 over Albia.
For Ogden, Tori Alexander (120) had a fall in 2:38.
Match 2 — Ogden 43, Colfax‑Mingo 42 (Criteria)
Ogden edged Colfax‑Mingo 43–42 thanks to a criteria tiebreaker.
The Bulldogs earned one more bout victory than the Tigerhawks, giving them the win after the teams finished deadlocked.
Ogden had falls from Trinity Stoneburner (110) 1:29, Sophie Seligman (125) in 3:59, Jozlyn Wells (130) in :57 and Alauna Wells (135) in 1:09.
The dual ended 42–42, but Ogden’s advantage in wins earned the Bulldogs the victory on criteria, giving them their second dual win of the night.
Match 3 — Ogden 54, Martensdale‑St. Mary’s 12
Ogden closed the quad with beating Martensdale‑St. Mary’s, 54–12.
Ogden had two pins to seal the dual from Grace Hammer (190) in :49 and Ruby Tasler (235) in :43.
