
The Ogden girls’ track team competed at the West Central Activities Conference Meet, Tuesday, May 5 at Pleasantville.
Alena Wilson led the Bulldogs with a third‑place finish in the 100‑meter hurdles, clocking a time of 16.81 seconds.
Wilson also placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 15‑3.5, and Paysen Graden was eighth in 14-03.5.
Sophie Seligman and Layla Wells were sixth and eighth in the 400-meter dash, respectively, in 1:08.23 and 1:08.89.
Ella Anderson was eighth in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:22.50.
Ogden placed fourth in the shuttle hurdle relay with Anderson, Mady Benjamin, Graden and Wilson, running 1:12.91.
The Bulldogs also finished seventh in the sprint medley relay with Graden, Grace Christensen, Seligman and Dakota Jones in 2:03.73.
The 4×800-meter relay team of Trinity Stoneburner, Ella Dutcher, Alauna Wells and Addison Hunziker crossed the line seventh in 11:51.45.
The 4×400-meter relay team of Seligman, Stoneburner, Layla Wells and Wilson placed seventh in 4:35.35.
The distance medley relay of Aubrey Leonard, Christensen, Jones and Stoneburner finished eighth in 4:58.77.
Ogden also recorded eighth‑place finishes in the 4×100-meter relay with Leonard, Christensen, Graden and Benjamin in 55.11 in the and 4×200-meter relay with Leonard, Anderson, Christensen and Sidney Crane in 2:04.18.
Ogden was ninth with 30 points, and Van Meter won the meet with 159 points.
