
The Ogden basketball teams couldn’t keep pace at Des Moines Christian as the boys lost, 80–53, and the girls lost, 72-10, Friday, January 30.
For the boys, Colson Carson led Ogden with 15 points, knocking down 7 of 13 shots while adding seven rebounds, including two on the offensive glass.
Carson also provided two blocks.
Jordan Benjamin delivered 10 points on 4‑of‑5 shooting, including 2‑for‑2 from three, while grabbing four rebounds, blocking a shot, and recording a steal.
Brayden Miller added nine points, going a perfect 3‑for‑3 at the line, and Jase Coleman had five rebounds and a steal.
Keagan Ristvedt and Coleman dished out seven assists apiece.
Ogden falls to 1–14 overall and 1–11 in the West Central Conference.
Ogden girls fall to Des Moines Christian
The Ogden girls fell, 72–10, on the road at Des Moines Christian Friday, January 30.
Paysen Graden led the Bulldogs with three points, knocking down a field goal and adding one free throw.
Layla Wells and Sawyer Curry each added two points.
Dakota Jones pulled down a team‑high six rebounds, including three offensive, while also collecting three steals.
Lauren Mathews added four rebounds, a block, a steal and one assist.
Alena Wilson contributed three rebounds and a steal.
The loss drops Ogden to 2–17 overall and 0–12 in conference play.
Ogden travels to Madrid tonight for a West Central Conference doubleheader with the girls at 6:15 p.m. and the boys at approximately 7:30 p.m.
