The Ogden softball team saw its postseason journey come to a close Saturday, July 12, falling, 5-1, to East Marshall in a Class 2A Region 4 matchup on the road.
The Bulldogs managed seven hits on the night, including one each from Adi Banks, Aubrey Leonard, Sophie Seligman, Harleigh Janssen, Breaunna Wenger, and Lauren Mathews.
Camryn Askelsen drove in Ogden’s lone run, while Seligman crossed the plate for the team’s only score.
Katie Wilcoxson pitched a complete game, striking out three, but took the loss.
Ogden finishes a strong season with a 22-12 record.
East Marshall improves to 26-9 and advances in the regional bracket.
For the season, Wenger led the offense with 51 hits and 38 RBIs.
Seligman added 42 hits and 30 RBIs.
Leonard contributed 39 hits, while Banks drove in 28 runs.
In the circle, Wilcoxson earned 21 wins, posting a 2.91 ERA, and striking out 95 batters.
