Ogden tops South Hamilton in 5 sets

The Ogden volleyball team went the distance and beat South Hamilton in 5 sets, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10, in the first round of Class 2A, Region 5, tournament play on Monday, October 21, in Ogden.

The Ogden volleyball team went the distance and beat South Hamilton in 5 sets, 25-22, 20-25, 25-21, 20-25, 15-10, in the first round of Class 2A, Region 5, tournament play on Monday, October 21, in Ogden. 

The Bulldogs served 94 percent for the evening.  

Paysen Graden went 19 for 21 with 5 aces while Katelyn Ryan was 20 for 22 with 4 aces. 

For the Odgen offense, Paysen Graden notched 10 kills and Camryn Askelsen had 8 kills. 

Miranda Cook had 11 assists while Maliyah Sundell ended with 9 assists. 

The defense was led by Aubrey Leonard with 30 digs, and Katelyn Ryan had 16 digs. 

Ogden (9-16) plays Aplington-Parkersburg (33-6) in a Class 2A regional quarterfinal game tonight at Aplington.
