The Ogden volleyball team put up a strong effort Tuesday, October 7, but couldn’t overcome a tough Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center squad.
The Bulldogs fell, 3-0, in a West Central Conference road match at AC/GC High School.
Despite the loss, the Bulldogs finished with a 95 percent team serving rate.
Macy Bristle went 9-for-9 with 1 ace.
Olivia Coleman was perfect 16-for-16 with 1 ace.
Aubrey Leonard added 1 ace on 9-for-9 serving.
Setter Ella Anderson continued to lead the offense with 22 assists, while Coleman powered the attack with 11 kills.
Sydney Craighton added 2 blocks, and Leonard anchored the defense with 16 digs.
With the loss, Ogden drops to 15-12 overall and 2-3 in the West Central Conference, while AC/GC improves to 15-6 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
Next, Ogden will compete in the West Central Activities Conference Tournament on Monday and Tuesday, October 13–14, hosted at Des Moines Christian School.
