The Ogden volleyball team came up short against unbeaten Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center, falling 3-1 Tuesday, September 8, at AC/GC High School.
Ogden received a balanced offensive effort led by Olivia Coleman, who recorded a team-high 10 kills and added 10 digs.
Kenzie Banks contributed six kills, while setter Ella Anderson finished with 22 assists, five kills, six digs, and three service aces.
Sidney Crane added four kills, and Sydney Craighton paced the Bulldogs at the net with two total blocks.
Defensively, Ogden was led by Coleman’s 10 digs.
Grace Christensen chipped in eight digs, while Anderson added six digs.
Anderson served 21-for-22 with three aces, while Payden Graden was a perfect 8-for-8 with one ace.
Macy Bristle added two aces.
The Bulldogs dropped their record to 3-3 on the season, while AC/GC improved to 9-0.
The Bulldogs will return to action at the Perry Tournament beginning at 4 p.m. tonight.
The tournament field includes Nodaway Valley, Earlham, Perry, Des Moines East and Ogden.
