
The Ogden Bulldogs boys’ wrestling team battled tough competition at the Jim Kinyon Norsemen Invitational Saturday, December 20, hosted by Roland-Story, finishing 16th overall with 59.5 team points in a deep field of 22 teams.
Ryder Eklund (132 lbs) led the Bulldogs with a 4th-place finish.
Eklund opened the day with two quick pins, including a 32-second fall in the first round, before dropping a close semifinal match.
He bounced back with another pin in the consolation bracket before falling in the 3rd-place match.
Kinnick Munson (138 lbs) claimed 5th place, scoring three wins on the day, including a 26-second pin in his final match.
Isaac Dominick (144 lbs) and Landon Alexander (165 lbs) both finished 6th.
Dillon Moe (150 lbs) picked up two pins in the early rounds.
Cooper Long (126 lbs) and Riley Saunders (120 lbs) each scored wins in the consolation bracket.
Sergeant Bluff-Luton won the team title with 203.5 points, followed by Williamsburg (193.5) and Atlantic (190.5).
Ogden finished with 59.5 points.
