Ryder Eklund and Landon Alexander of Ogden both lost in the first round and the consolation rounds of the Iowa High School Athletic Association State Wrestling Championships in Des Moines.
In the first round at 120 pounds on Wednesday, Eklund was pinned by Ryan Fletcher of Underwood in 2:48.
In the consolation rounds today, Eklund was pinned by Ty Strode of Nodaway Valley.
Eklund ends his season at 29-18.
In the first round at 157 pounds on Wednesday, Alexander was pinned by Jake Hiland of Bellevue in 1:25.
In the consolation rounds today, Alexander was pinned by Wade Sankot of Belle Plaine.
Alexander ends his season at 20-20.
