Eli Stines, Boone Mayor talks about the recent Boone City Council meeting. The Council approved an adjustment for the allocation of Local Option Sales Tax Funds for the Airport Commission to apply those for the on going Fuel Farm Project. The Council was also updated on issues the Waste Water Treatment Plant in McHose Park and some of the projects affecting that facility. Stines also noted the City will be receiving a $500,000 Community Development Block Grant for the planned ground storage tank rehabilitation project. Aired Tuesday, July 22, 2025.

Dr. Allen Goben, Executive Campus Dean, Boone Campus DMACC visits about work being done to prepare for Fall Semester beginning in month. Still quite a bit of activity underway on campus in preparation. There have been a number of summer camps that are concluding. Some of the students will be moving back into campus housing.
