Paul Overton, Boone County Assessor, talks about new valuations for Boone County property owners. He explains that sales in 2022 have pushed all valuations up and property owners will be receiving notice of the increase soon. He talks about the process of setting the taxable valuation by rollback and the impact taxing entities will have setting property taxes due in the fall of 2024.
